Baltimore has always been a city of builders, from shipyards to startups, murals to microchips. "Built with Charm" is a new gathering for everyone building something in our city.
It’s not about "big tech" or polished launches. It’s about grassroots creativity, local energy, and real work in progress the things being built, tested, and imagined right here in Baltimore.
Who is this for?
This is your space to share, connect, and get inspired. It's for anyone who is:
- Building: Shipping an app, a piece of hardware, or a creative project.
- Strategizing: Leading a team, designing a product, or mapping out a new venture.
- Solving: Working on complex problems in research, tech, or science.
- Experimenting: Tinkering with new tools or working on a personal side project.
- Dreaming: Just starting to sketch out a brand new idea.
What to Expect
Each event is a simple, energetic gathering focused on sharing and connection.
- Show & Tell: A series of 5-7 minute demos from local builders. This is for apps, hardware, art, side projects, and more. Progress is preferred over polish, and slide decks are not required!
- Community Spotlight: One local story about a project "built with charm."
- Open Mic: 1-minute lightning ideas from anyone in the audience.
- Connect: Time to talk, network, and collaborate with other creative people.
